I have recently been involved in a long involved family project (Corny Capers the cartoon!) this has taken us all around the world recently for various pitching meetings. I am pleased to say my part has been bringing Sony/ATV on board to sign up the Global music rights. Please visit www.cornycapers.com for the full story.
BASE STUDIOS AND SGM MUSIC GROUP
Scott has recently become a partner in the business at Base studios dealing with the 200 cap live venue, recording studio, coffee shop and education business. One of the first events to be organised was a free music industry master class for MAS Records with plugger friend Sue Buckler (Sony/Jive) and BBC Introducing DJ Andrew Marston (also a long time friend!)

Scott Garrett from MAS Records (left on picture) spoke at the BBC Hereford and Worcester Master Class last month as part of Worcester Music Festival. Hosted by Andrew Marston from the BBC the class covered lots of questions that bands normally ask, i.e. “How do I find a manager?”, “What is the future of record deals?”.
BBC Hereford and Worcester have been playing different parts of the master class every Saturday night on the Introducing show.
Excerpts from the show can be heard to the right.
